Mid Season Update

Mike Newcombe, 19 June 2017 21:15

Just a few reminders, questions and aide de memoires as we approach the half way stage of the season

Please remember that it is the responsibility of the home team to make sure the result is posted on time.

If the away team are scoring and updating automatically via an app it is still up to the home team to make sure the details are correct.

The Adult Leagues Group will be sending a Task Group around the county to gauge opinion on the revised Sussex League pyramid structure once it has been agreed.

The MSCL will be represented at as many of these meetings as we can get to. Updates will follow.

Do any of you have any comments good or bad regarding the new cricket balls we are using this season ?

The next player survey will go live in the first week of July. Please circulate it to as many players as possible and ask them to register their points of view.

Does anyone have an interest in joining the Executive Committee ?

Some current members are retiring from the EC at this year's AGM and we need to replace them.

We meet roughly 10 times a year. If you are interested and would like more information please feel free to contact me.

The AGM will be held at the Hassocks Hotel on October 25th.

The League Dinner will be held at the County Ground in Hove on November 25th.

Kindest Regards

Bill Anthony
